Sabrina Jones was a veteran member of our Omaha fashion community who passed away on May 31, 2017. She created some of the most iconic looks shown in the early years of Omaha Fashion Week [OFW]. She has been involved with OFW since the beginning back in 2008. She has worked as a designer of her own collections, as a backstage volunteer, as a mentor and sewing instructor to up-and-coming young designers, instructor at Omaha Fashion Camp, and as the first SAC Money Dress designer. Her bright smile, infectious laugh and positive attitude brightened any room she entered.

In addition to her work with the fashion community, she worked at Signs & Shapes International, as a fitness instructor at Blue Moon Fitness and ran her own alterations business. She is a graduate of the fashion program at UNL and had planned to go on for her PhD. Most importantly, she is the mother of two beautiful young girls; Taylor, age 14 and Madeline, age eight. We are collecting donations to help the girls as they face life without their mom.
